Interesting video Olga. Very good observations! This line was especially golden, "the mind mistakes the talking for the doing." The very interesting part is that this is easily true in our following of Jesus. I find that correlation in my walk with Christ, mind does mistake the talking for the doing often.

May we be doers and not merely hearers and speakers of the Word.

  2. I know!
I catch myself doing that so many times..
I just tell people what I want to do and that instant gratification is there.. so I have no motivation left to do that..
But in Christianity, its good to share right? As long as we have the right motives behind us wanting to change.. that way people's approval of our goals will not give us the satisfaction that is needed..

I agree that in Christianity it's good to share. Sometimes it helps with accountability. But it's not just the motives that we need to be careful with, but also so that we don't believe that sharing alleviates our need to work hard to accomplish what we shared.
